Dr. Khamsum Wangdu

Dr. Khamsum Wangdu, a dentist based in Etobicoke, and originally from Nepal, developed his foundation in the hills of the Himalayas. He began his career in dentistry. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Toronto in 2020 and started a successful career focused on oral health.
After graduation, Dr. Wangdu served the people of Newfoundland and Labrador for two years. This was especially rewarding since he came into contact with a very heterogeneous population of patients, honing his skills and gaining more experience with different dental care requirements. His leadership on the Atlantic Coast was characterized by an emphasis on patient care excellence and a real interest in advocating for oral health within the community.
Motivated by a need to be near his family and continue to make a contribution to the dental field, Dr. Wangdu came back to Toronto. His career is not just a reflection of a dedication to providing good dental care but also of a passion for ongoing learning and development. As a practicum professional, he aims to have a positive effect on the oral well-being and health of his patients, basing his practice on his varied life experience and the learning he has from his long period of education and practice.
